Blyth economic development plan in the works

BLYTH — North Huron Council is going to be focussing more on the success of businesses in Blyth. Council met last night with the Blyth Business Improvement Association and the Blyth Idea Group who will execute a 10 year Economic Development Plan. CAO Gary Long says North Huron need to improve their communications. “We need to engage Blyth businesses and residents more than we do. We also have to develop a specific plan to say here are the goals that we have for our community, here are the action items and the initiatives that are going to get us there and capitalize and maximize the opportunities that are in Blyth.”
