BLYTH — Student creativity and talent will be on display for the next three weeks at the Bainton Gallery in Blyth. It’s part of the Blyth Festival Art Gallery’s 40th Anniversary celebrations.

This annual show features the best works of art students in Grades 9 to 12 from the Avon Maitland District and Huron Perth Catholic District School Boards.

Many different artistic techniques will be featured — including mixed media, sculpture, photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital illustration.

The Student Show 2015 officially opens with a reception in the Bainton Gallery, beside the Blyth Festival Box Office, Thursday evening at 6pm.

The show will be available for viewing during the Blyth Festival box office hours and continues on display until May 21.
