Huron County Museum goes virtual
GODERICH — Staff at the Huron County Museum in Goderich will start loading video content into a new virtual reality program next month.
The county’s Cultural Services Director Meighan Wark explains the Ministry of Tourism and Culture provided them with a $25,000 grant to create the program.
It will include some behind-the-scenes exhibits on the main street of the History Hall, as well as some vignettes of events that took place there.
Wark says it’s important they use the technology to make their exhibits more current as well as improving accessibility.
For people who cannot get out to the Museum, it will give then a chance to see some of the exhibits on-line.
