Huron Perth portion of Guelph to Goderich trail moving slowly

BRUSSELS — We have the 401 of trails in our backyards.

That is what Doug Cerson, chair of the Kissing Bridge Trail Association, who drove a four-wheeled all terrain vehicle on the Guelph to Goderich rail trail about two weeks ago told an audience at the Huron Perth Walk Hike Wheel Symposium last week.

He collected 30 gigabytes of High Definition video and 175 photos while traveling the trail and found 90 per cent of the trail is drivable and only about eight kilometers need some work. Cerson also had two encounters with cows encroaching on the trail.
